Jyoti moved in with us in the beginning of 2009, a little more than a year after Jola. She was the puppy, I had planned instead of Jola. Well, two Tollers are even better than just one!
Every Jack will find it’s Jill – Jyoti is exactly the Toller girl I was hoping for and even more!
Always happy, perky, and always working in a important mission – that is Jyoti.
Training Obedience or Dummy, she is eager to work, easy to concentrate and has lots of fun with me. She is rather depending on me, likes to do everything right and thinks a lot.
She loves to retrieve and does that with a good speed. Searching and going out for long distances was a little problem for her, she rather likes to work close and together with me. We worked on this part for quite a while, so that it is no problem any more.
Sometimes she is my little princess and has to pick a leaf or a stick out of her coat. In her freetime she avoids thick brushwood and nettles, but while working, she goes through it with almost no hesitation.
Water is great – as long as she can stand and splash around. Swimming was a problem for some time, but now she takes almost every water entry.
Our focus is Obedience, where we compete in the highest class and already have some really nice results.
Dummy is mor “just for fun”, we competed on Workingtests in class A (Beginner) and at the moment F (advanced), but not very often.
